Data Science Projects
These projects represent my work in computational modeling, data wrangling, and algorithmic strategy. Ranging from auditing international trade data to developing data-driven marketing frameworks. Here, you will find a blend of Python, SQL, and API integrations used to turn raw information into functional insights.
Alpha Sigma Chapter Centennial Celebration Project
I spearheaded a fundraising and archival initiative. I designed and executed a data-driven communication strategy that successfully engaged over 200 members. This outreach, which leveraged tools like Constant Contact , directly resulted in the collection of $90,000 in donations for the Wiley and Alpha Sigma Endowment Program. I maintained project visibility by developing monthly reports on engagement and fundraising progress and ensured a lasting historical record by creating a comprehensive historical archival book for the chapter.
Accelerated A/B Testing Simulation
In the era of big data, processing speed is a competitive advantage. I developed a high-performance computing solution to tackle processing bottlenecks, reducing the time required for complex simulations by over 92%. By transitioning a serial Python workflow to a parallelized environment on the Ptolemy Cluster, I achieved a performance efficiency rating greater than 1.0, demonstrating how strategic infrastructure decisions can maximize hardware ROI and accelerate time-to-insight.
Spotify Top 2000 Genres Viz
This interactive Tableau dashboard provides a quantitative exploration of the Spotify Top 2000 Genres, analyzing thousands of tracks to reveal the evolution of musical trends over several decades. By leveraging API-driven data, I developed visualizations that allow users to drill down into specific genres, uncovering how sonic characteristics like energy and popularity have shifted over time
Einstein's Riddle: A Constraint Satisfaction Project
This project tackled Einstein's Riddle (the Zebra Puzzle), a complex logic problem with fifteen interconnected clues across five categories. Instead of manual searching, we modeled the riddle as a Constraint Satisfaction Problem. By translating the puzzle's clues into formal variables and constraints, we developed an efficient algorithmic solution to logically deduce the unique combination and identify who owns the fish.
Red Wine Quality Statistical Inference Project
This project utilized a Random Forest model to determine if red Vinho Verde wine could be classified into 'low-quality,' 'medium-quality,' or 'high-quality' categories based on 11 chemical properties. The analysis ultimately supported rejecting the null hypothesis, concluding that chemical properties significantly influence wine quality.
'how i'm feeling now' Viz
This interactive visualization provides a quantitative analysis of Charli XCX's How I'm Feeling Now, leveraging Spotify and Musicstax data to deconstruct the album's sonic characteristics. The dashboard maps key audio features specifically Danceability, Energy, Positiveness, and Speechiness against the Beats Per Minute (BPM) and stream count for each track.
